Students interested in sharing their work with the campus should consider submitting their artwork to The Collegian’s first issue. Karen Hye, Art History Club President, is the Layout Editor and would love to feature a montage of student artwork for the first issue. Email Karen at khye2 to share your work!
Are you interested in art or art history? Are you interested in being a part of a club at Washington College that celebrates art and brings it to campus through exciting events and activities? If so, come to the first Art History Club meeting of the semester on September 17, 2009 at 7:00 in Daly 218. This meeting will introduce you to The Art History Club and event ideas for this year will be discussed. In the past the art history club has taken several trips throughout the year to major art museums, held an art/art history career panel, tie-dyed, hosted speakers, as well as other fun and interesting events/activities. This year we will be continuing on with many events while adding new ones and we welcome suggestions from anyone interested in The Art History Club! We’re excited to start the year off with new and returning art history club members on Thursday, September 17 – see you there!
